DNA Project – Building on Developing Neighbourhoods
A European project with four partners
DNA (Developing Neighbourhood Approach) is an INTERREG IVA 2 Seas project which brings Medway Council, the city of Antwerp, OCMW Kortrijk and the city of Breda together to create a sense of ownership in the various neighbourhoods involved in this project.
The goal: the creation of ownership Ownership exists when people feel involved in the changes that their neighbourhood is going through. The partnership believes that people who feel involved are proud citizens that want to look after their neighbourhood. In this context “neighbourhood” should be seen as a street, a square and also a building.
